On the 15 of July 2017 in the city of Helsinki (Finland) there was a demonstration in support of Okinawa marine nature harmed by the building of new american military base in Henoko. Demonstration was conducted in front of the Helsinki modern arts museum Kiasma and the old Helsinki post office. About 100-150 Finnish people took part in it. All of them support Okinawa people and the protest against spreading of american military forces all around the world. People were very willing to support Okinawa they were very friendly and supportive with each other. The protests are creative and humorous. It is the same style of protest that the people in Okinawa use: peacefulness, humor and creativity.
The demonstration was organized by Joukkovoima. It is politically independent party and their demonstrations are open for everyone. The only limitation is that there should be no violence and no racism.
